The Simple Solution to Your Steel Edge Problems Sparks, Fires, Noise, Muck and Floor Wear – All Solved by Switching from Steel to Rubber Cutting Edges

SETCO’s compression molded rubber cutting edge is one continuous piece of rubber, which is bonded to a metal blade that bolts directly and easily to the bucket. This provides greater strength and increased life compared to other designs. By using 100% natural rubber in the manufacturing process, SETCO ensures that there is no harmful steel cord body in the rubber blade that could damage the floor or cause sparks.

Further, SETCO’s rubber cutting edges clean the floor more effectively than steel edges, which keeps the floor drier. SETCO’s rubber blades, therefore, not only protect the bucket, but the surface of the floor as well. This allows the SETCO rubber cutting edge to increase the floor life while effectively decreasing tyre spinning. Rubber cutting edges are available for small and skid steer loaders, backhoes, and all makes and models of front end loaders.

SETCO offers three different taper options:
• No taper
• Single
• Double

The latter option makes the rubber edge reversible. Our universal channel mounting mechanism allows the positioning of bolts in a channel for easy line-up with a bucket. This means that to determine the correct parts for a specific bucket, one needs only a simple tape measurement of the bucket width, the size of the current bolts and the quantity of holes in the bucket.

We use 100% natural rubber for its outstanding cut resistance and longevity qualities that are such an important part of the life cycle of a solid rubber tyre. Our exclusive rubber compounds allow us to produce the greatest cut resistant solid tyre while maintaining maximum flexibility of the rubber.

Finest Materials

Only the finest materials and state of the art equipment are used in creating the industry leading solid tyres on rims.

A SETCO solid tyre is used in extreme and abusive applications where pneumatic or foam filled tyres will not last. So tough, our solid rubber tyres are known as “Junk Yard Dog” tyres!.
